OPC Training Level 5 - Industrial Cyber Security for OPC

Overview:
Upon completion of OPC Level 5, graduates will have the following knowledge and skills:
- Learn about Industrial Cyber Security (ICS) threats, vulnerabilities and risks
- Learn industry standards and regulations
- Understand the best practices for secure industrial network architecture
- Learn how to design secure OPC architecture for control systems using OPC Classic and OPC UA.
- Learn how to work with advanced tools to assess the threats.
- Understand Windows operating system security
- Troubleshooting and mitigating security issues
Targeted audience: The OPC Security Workshop will be principally targeted at process control engineers, technologists, technicians and managers responsible for the commissioning and day-to-day operation of automation and process control systems. It will also contain information relevant to security audits, managers and administrators responsible for the design of process control architectures, selection of technologies and software and the purchase of both hardware and software for these systems.

Learning Environment:
The workshop will be made up of lectures, PowerPoint presentations, and hands-on exercises. It will be an open and friendly environment that encourages discussion and participation. Students are welcome to discuss current connectivity issues they are faced with and learn from one another. |
