The OPC Server for Westinghouse WDPF from MatrikonOPC provides robust and reliable real-time industrial strength data connectivity for the Westinghouse Distributed Processing Family (WDPF) DCS systems. Unlike proprietary solutions, this OPC Server directly communicates with the DCS system through the WESAPI that it is installed on the application station.
The OPC Server for Westinghouse WDPF from MatrikonOPC was specifically designed with the end user in mind. Particular attention was paid in the development of this OPC Server to ensure that parameter changes in the GUI can be made without interrupting the functionality of the Server.
Being fully OPC compliant, the OPC Server for Westinghouse WDPF provides end-users with the ability to monitor and control data points using any OPC compliant Client such as: Historians, Trenders, HMI’s etc.to make modulating control, sequential control, and data acquisition for a wide variety of process applications an easy task for DCS operators.

- Tags are automatically generated for each device
- Supports device-level redundancy through fail-over channels
