Technical Details

The MatrikonOPC Server for OMNI Flow Computers uses the MatrikonOPC Server for Modbus framework to power its interface to all OMNI Flow Devices.

As it is built on proven MatrikonOPC technology, the MatrikonOPC Server for OMNI Flow Computers is perfect for interfacing with Omni Flow devices. Typically OMNI Flow devices are used to measure density, flow, and composition of any liquid in a pipeline. This makes the MatrikonOPC Server for OMNI the perfect choice for those in the Oil & Gas industry.

This OPC Server has been rigourously tested with the OMNI FLOW 3000 and 6000, and certified as compliant by OMNI Flow Computers Inc.

The MatrikonOPC Modbus Interface is an OPC compliant server that enables data interchange between OPC clients and Modbus compliant PLCs. Its easy installation and seamless configuration empowers the user to access open exchange of information between OPC compliant applications including historians, trending packages, HMIs, reporting applications, spreadsheets and others. OPCs plug-and-play connectivity enables users to focus on value-added business activities rather than struggle with complicated system integration problems.

The MatrikonOPC Modbus Interface enables users to create truly scalable systems where they reap the benefit of being able to choose which components are appropriate for their system and not be vendor independent.
