The MatrikonOPC Server for  SCADA Weatherford CAC provides connectivity to any eProductions 8500 or 8550, or any Baker 8500 or 8550 compatible RPC (Rod Pump Controller) device via the 8500 Comm Protocol. The MatrikonOPC server is installed on a Windows PC and connects to multiple devices at a time using SCADA interfaces.

The MatrikonOPC Server includes support for:

  • Multiple communications channels at the same time (serial, radio, network, dial-up)
  • Supervisory control using single-destination and broadcast commands
  • Redundancy, including channel redundancy, and fail-over and fail-back
  • Round-Robin polling
  • Detailed polling schedule
  • Optimized for low-bandwidth and noisy communication channels
  • Runs as a Windows Service
