This MatrikonOPC Server provides robust connectivity to DH+, DF1, DH485, and Ethernet/IP. This server can connect via serial connections, single port PKTX PCI cards, and Ethernet connections. It represents a solution for connectivity to Allen Bradley devices and is specifically designed to connect to the end devices without any other 3rd party software required. The MatrikonOPC Server for Allen-Bradley PLCs can directly connect to Allen Bradley PLC's. The MatrikonOPC Server for Allen Bradley PLCs includes time saving features not found in other drivers like:
- Automatic discovery of devices
- Automatic configuration of devices
- ControlLogix routing
- Loading of device configuration files like .l5k, .pc5, and .slc
- Serial connection types are automatically configured
- Tags are automatically generated for each device.
- Supports Device-Level Redundancy through fail-over channels
