Tip 5: OPC Explorer can add all items in your browse tree at once
Did you know that OPC Explorer can add all your OPC items at
once? To add all the OPC tags from a particular OPC Server, simply select
the top level folder and choose "Add All Items". This will add all tags
under that particular folder. This is very handy if you need to document
a particular OPC Server’s entire tag address space.
You can also add all items with a specific format by using
the Item Filtering option (See Explorer Tip 4). For example if you wanted to
add all Items ending with the letters "PV" you could specify "*PV" in the Item
filter box and then right click on the folder to "Add All Items".
