The MatrikonOPC Chameleon Server (formerly MatrikonOPC Mimic Server). is a unique object-based real-time OPC simulation tool that was specifically designed to mimic another OPC Server’s tag behaviors. MatrikonOPC Chameleon Server can browse another OPC Server and assume its address space. Users can then configure MatrikonOPC Chameleon Server’s Tags to simulate the target OPC Server’s tag behavior thus providing a mirror image of the actual device tag information in a simulated server setting without being connected to an actual system. This makes MatrikonOPC Chameleon Server the ideal tool for anyone working with or upgrading process control systems.
