This document is the user’s manual for the File Design Utility (FDU) that is part of the OPC Server for Generic Information Exchange (OPC Genie) system. It describes how to use the FDU to build file specification files that can then be used by the OPC Genie server. This document does not describe the configuration of the OPC Genie server – please refer to the OPC Genie User’s Manual for that.
