My tags will not validate! What should my tags look like? |
Solution:
For a detailed description of the item ID syntax, please see section 4 of your user manual (page 61).
When you connect to Modbus and attempt to browse it, the OPC Server will provide you with a hint tag. This hint tag will be similar to the following:
Test.4:1-65536, or PLC limit
Take the text "1-65536, or PLC limit", and replace it with your register number. The actual tag will look something like this:
Test.4:57
