While configuring Modbus, I get an error 'This item is set to broadcast (address 0)'. What's this? |
Solution:
If the Modbus address is set to 0, this indicates that the device link is configured for writing to all Modbus slaves that are available. You cannot read tags through this device link.
Change the address to match the address of the Modbus slave you wish to read data from. |
