Solution:
It will be necessary to upgrade Tunneller on all systems that are communicating with each other. You may experience problems if you configure two different versions of Tunneller to communicate with each other.
To perform the upgrade, walk through the following steps:
1. Go to 'Start->Run'
2. At the prompt, type: services.msc
3. Stop the following services:
- MatrikonOPC Tunneller CSC
- MatrikonOPC Tunneller HDA CSC (if applicable)
- MatrikonOPC Tunneller SSC
4. Refresh the services panel and ensure the services are not restarted by an OPC Client.
5. Close the services panel.
6. Uninstall Tunneller from Add/Remove Programs.
7. Install the new version of Tunneller using Add/Remove Programs.
As aforementioned, it will be necessary to repeat these steps on all of your Tunneller systems. |
