Problem:
Why can't OPC Explorer see my OPC Servers? |
Solution:
If OPC Explorer cannot see the OPC Servers which are installed on the machine, it is likely because OPC Explorer does not have sufficient DCOM access to the OPCEnum utility. Select 'View->Options' in the OPC Explorer configuration panel, and change your browse method to 'Registry Browsing'. After a restart, OPC Explorer will browse the registry directly and show you a list of your servers. |
