Problem:
The About screen and configuration Window do not show up when a remotely connecting client or a client that runs as an NT service (such as the Aspen Technologies CIMIO OPC Manager) tries to launch the OPC server.

Solution:
Under DCOM, either set the identity for the OPC server to the interactive user, or else consider running the server as an NT service. For more information, refer to the Appendix in your user’s guide titled Distributed COM (DCOM).
