This server is an OPC(tm) compliant program that allows access to Micro1C RTU data. The product has the following features:
- Fully compliant with OPC(tm) Data Access Specification 1.0a
- Permits read and write access to standard Micro1C data blocks
- Provides flexible communications options using:
- RS-232 Micro1C directly to Micro1C RTUs, or
- Micro1C Ethernet via the Matrikon Serial Port Arbitrator
- Supports Micro1C format floating point (IEEE standard)
- Requires minimal configuration after installation
- Performs extensive error tracking and management

OPC Certification is the process of ensuring that applications meet the standards specified by the OPC Foundation. OPC Certification requires extensive testing to ensure true interoperability. OPC Certification means multi-vendor system interoperability is guaranteed. If your OPC products are not certified, you need to ask your vendor what sort of guarantees they offer. |
