The OPC Server for Fisher Provox uses CHIP to access all data within Provox. While Fisher-Rosemount recommends the usage of PAS (Provox Application Server) to manufacturers that are planning to upgrade to Windows NT, there are many who select not to do so. In this case, use Matrikon's OPC Server to access required data. Matrikon's OPC Server for Fisher Provox is based on the popular GenCS (Generic Client/Server) technology.
