The MatrikonOPC Server for Triconex HPKS is Honeywell PKS Certified. The PKS (Experion® Process Knowledge System) Advantage is a program designed for putting products under Honeywell's rigorous testing procedures to ultimately enable Honeywell's end-users optimize process throughput and work processes as well as lower the cost of operations and maintenance for their engineering systems. This product is the ONLY certified OPC connectivity product to Triconex systems.
The MatrikonOPC Server for Triconex HPKS provides high-speed read and write access to the Triconex Tricon and Trident. This OPC Server supports all available point types, full communication redundancy and fail-over when a connection goes down. The server can communicate via the new TCM (Triconex Communications Module), and the NCM (Network Communications Module), with no DCOM issues.
Unlike the embedded OPC servers from Invensys, the MatrikonOPC Server for Triconex has the ability to:
- Transfer 10,000 items per second,
- Read device SOEs and return them as OPC A&E messages,
- Read Tristation SOE files for enhanced A&E messages,
- Supply all available OPC A&E item's attributes.
