The OPC Server for Honeywell TPS from MatrikonOPC provides a connection into a Honeywell TDC 3000 system to enable data interchange between OPC Clients and modules on a Honeywell LCN (Local Control Network). The MatrikonOPC Server for Honeywell TPS can be installed directly on a TPS node or on a dedicated Windows 2000/Windows XP computer and can connect to one or more TPS nodes to access LCN data – the achievable OPC throughput depends on the number of TPS nodes that are available as gateways.
This affordable OPC Server enables high read/write performance through Honeywell's TPS nodes such as GUS, PHD, and AppNodes. Using the included wizard-based configuration, users are guided step by step through to establishing a connection to their Honeywell DCS.
