This RSLinx OPC Server is an OPC compliant server that enables data interchange between HMIs and other OPC Clients and Allen Bradley PLCs. The OPC Server provides read and write access to basic and structured PLC register types in PLC-5 and SLC-500 PLCs. Communication occurs using RS-LINX, which controls connections via RS-232, DH+, or Ethernet. Either way, the OPC Server is self-optimizing and self-configuring to provide easy, efficient, and reliable data transfer.
