The MatrikonOPC Server for Allen-Bradley PLCs is an OPC compliant server that enables data interchange between OPC clients and Allen-Bradley PLCs. The server provides read and write access to basic and structured PLC register types in PLC-5 and SLC-500 PLCs. Communication occurs using RS-LINX, which controls connections via RS-232, DH+, or Ethernet. Either way, the server is self-optimizing and self-configuring to provide easy, efficient, and reliable data transfer.
