OPC is a widely used, proven in many applications in industrial automation communication technology. OPC specifications define a number of dedicated interfaces allow for easy integration of automation components from different manufacturers. OPC support is built into most industrial applications (HMI, SCADA, MES, ERP), or available as an OPC server for almost all components available on the market, or solutions.
Latest specification OPC Unified Architecture enables the implementation of server functionality directly in the device, thereby eliminating the need to use computers working as dedicated OPC servers.
Professionals involved in the selection of components and control systems integration should have a basic knowledge related to OPC, in order to maximize the use of this technology in their practice.
The one-day training workshop OPC
- introduces the functionality and capabilities provided by various OPC specifications
- discusses the criteria that should be followed by selecting the optimal solution
- presents concrete examples of practical application of OPC
- shows the direction of the development of OPC technology based on practical examples.
The trainig is lead by an outstanding expert in the field of industrial communication systems, MSc. Artur Szymiczek - INTEX's Technical Director.
The workshop is conducted in the form of a lecture. Practical examples are implemented using hardware and software from different manufacturers. The topics of the workshop concerns the OPC and is not focused on solutions and technologies specific manufacturer.
