MatrikonOPC ODBC Server for OPC is for anyone using Crystal Reports or other popular ODBC-based applications. The true power of the MatrikonOPC ODBC Server for OPC lies in the fact that it is designed to provide users instant access to their OPC data in their historian rather than having to duplicate the data in a relational database. The MatrikonOPC ODBC Server for OPC enables ODBC access to any OPC HDA (Historical Data Access) Server and is fully compliant to Microsoft’s ODBC 3.5 specification. Each Server is configured to act as a database in the Matrikon ODBC Server for OPC, with a unique database name. This unique database name is used in "ODBC Data Source Administrator" to specify the desired data source for the configured DSN.
